Gozo
Gozo, Malta's adjacent
island, is both small and picturesque being mostly green and
fertile. The island is nine miles long and four miles wide,
and is easily accessible by ferry from Cirkewwa (20 mins),
or helicopter transfer over some spectacular scenery from
Malta (10 mins). Marfa Bay will be your first experience of
the island if you arrive here by ferry. Marfa has fantastic
views from Marfa Ridge across to Comino and Gozo. Visit the
splendid Norman Citadel in the capital, Victoria. There are
plenty of fishing villages and secluded bays to explore, while
ancient sites make the island an archaeologist's paradise.
